Marcus has been part of the J.P. Morgan Equity Research department for more than 13 years, where, today, his coverage universe is largely focused on the European Internet space. As part of his work, he is involved in analyzing and forecasting current and future trends in the areas of e-commerce, food delivery and online classifieds.

His team has been consistently ranked top 3 in the Institutional Investors survey for Media/Internet with Marcus consecutively ranked number 1 individual analyst for the last 4 years.

In his position as Equity Analyst, Marcus covers a global client base including large institutional investors such as leading asset managers, hedge funds and insurance companies. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2007, Marcus worked for KPMG Corporate Finance and Krueger stock brokers in Hamburg, Germany. Marcus holds an MSc from Goethe Business School in Frankfurt; he is based and lives in London with his wife, Ewa, and their son Patrick.
